O OPINION VIEWS FROM INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE H-Z

Kudos ...
We say thank you to those making a
difference in and around New Braunfels
We think we would be remiss if we didn’t begin our
weekly kudos with applause to everyone who attended
Wednesday’s South Castell Avenue master plan meet-
ing in city hall.
The council chambers were packed to the rafters as
at least a couple hundred people listened to the pre-
sentation, which featured three new options for the
10-acre parcel of land just east of the Plaza.
An informed group is a good group, and we salute
everyone who took the time to attend and learn about
the new potential options for the site. We also applaud
all those who showed up early and went on one of the
two tours that highlighted what could go where when
all is said and done.
But, we also want to give kudos to the city and to
Douglas Architects. Our city’s braintrust is mov-
ing forward on this project, but is making sure the
thoughts, concerns and ideas of New Braunfelsers are
being heard.
Public comment has been a part of this project from
the start, and surveys were distributed and then gath-
ered to gain even more input on what citizens think. LETTERS POLICY SUBMIT LETTERS

Hearing loss can affect your health and quality of life, but it can also take a toll on the people around you. Listening and
being heard in our relationships allows us to build trust, strong bonds and memories. Experiences shared with those
we love are some of the most precious things we have. It’s never too early to get tested for different types of hearing
loss and start protecting your hearing health. Our five Central Texas locations make it easy and convenient for you to
Hear Life Again and the people you love. Schedule your comprehensive hearing evaluation at a location near you.
