Monitoring and Evaluation Lead June 2015 – Present


Ugandan Water Project (Rochester, NY│ Kampala, Uganda)
 Took the initiative to volunteer on a short-term service trip to Uganda, offered my skills as an
intern to develop a monitoring and evaluation program, and was later hired on staff
 Researched, field tested, and implemented monitoring and evaluation program using mWater, a
cloud based mobile data collection and analysis software that uses a cell phone app to collect data
 Designed effective, context-specific surveys to collect water, sanitation, and hygiene data
 Expanded efficiency of systems for project management, donor communications, monitoring, and
evaluation, by creating a system of dashboards to automatically integrate data into workflow
 Designed and led participatory monitoring and evaluation training for both US and Ugandan staff
 Cultivated positive relationships with donors, partner organizations, and communities

Research Assistant – Baseline Development Study May – June 2017

 Member of hand picked 8-person team that conducted a baseline development survey of the
natural, physical, human, and social capital in Kalanthuba Chiefdom in Sierra Leone
 Took lead designing the physical capital section, and contributed to research protocol design, data
transcription, coding, and analysis
