1. Product Introduction

1.1 Ports Introduction

1.MODEM:light up when MODEM is connected;

2.EXT: light up when EXT connected;

3.SNMP:Function indicator,light up when it is enabled,slow flash is normal;

4.WEB:Function indicator,light up when it is enabled,slow flash is normal;

5.IPP:Function indicator,light up when it is enabled,slow flash is normal;

6.PPP: Function indicator,light up when it is enabled,slow flash is normal;

7.DEV: UPS communicate indicator, constantly on means have been connected well with UPS,

flash means communicate fail with UPS;

8.RUN: Running indicator, slow flash means running is normal, constantly on or off means

program no running or system crash;

9.M-PW: Mainboard power indicator of EXT;

10.PW:power indicator;

11.ON/OFF:on/off button.

12: AC220-240V power in;

13: Fuse 2A; pic3

14: RS422 port; to extend environment monitoring like Temp & Humid sensor or AirCon

Infrared Remote Controller, etc, PS:straight through network cable is required when in using;

2. Connection Diagram

2.1 Connect Network

Connect with LAN by 568B type network cable

2.2 Connect UPS

Connect with UPS by DB9 type cable that provided by UPS factory.(showed as below)

2.3 RS422 Add-on Sensors

2.3.1 Connect Temp & Humid Sensor:

Remark: use 568B network cable; device supports to connect 2 Temp&Humid sensors(connected in series)

2.3.2 Connect General Air Condition:

Remarks: the General A/C components with 2 parts, LCD screen and infrared probe; using 568B network cable
to connect to LCD screen via RS422 port(distance between infrared probe and general A/C should be ≤5M).
Temp&Humid sensor and general A/C can be in series connection.

2.4 DI/DO/AI Add on

SitemateII supports 16 DI sensors/8 AI sensors/5DO sensors

2.4.1 Connect 16 DIGIT INPUT:

Definition:input signal is dry contact(0-5V TTL level); accuracy:99.9%


D1~D16:16 channels IO channel;
GND:neutral ground GND/input ground SGND;
12V: the anode of bus

2.4.2 Connect 8 Analog Input

Analog:(8 analog signal input port)


Define:input signal is analog value(0~5V)
A1~A8: signal input IO channel;
GND: neutral ground (cathode-)
VCC: anode +

3. Set Network Segment

For first time sign in, user should set the network segment first(to be same with device).
Device default IP : 192.168.0.100,
Remark: network segment should be set as 192.168.0.XXX

Command “ping”
Before sign in the web interface, we can check the default IP address to confirm whether it is available in your network by
command “ping”

4. Sign in Web Monitoring Interface

4.1 Enter Default IP Address

After all steps finished, open a web browser(suggest IE/firefox/chrome etc), enter the device IP address
192.168.0.100

Enter initial user name and password to sign in the user interface.
Users name: Admin
Password: Admin

Remark: 4I20 includes smoke, leakage, door contact, motion, new fan detection, sound light, etc.

5.2.2.1 Temperature & Humidity Interface

Devices supports to connect 2 Temp&Humid sensor, in this part user can check the real time temperature
humidity parameters, maximum alarm threshold, minimum alarm threshold, add-on dry
contacts(Temp&Humid sensor)

5.2.2.2Battery

This part is to display battery strings related parameters and status

5.2.2.3 General Air Condition

This part is to check general A/C running status, temperature humidity parameter.

5.2.2.4 4I2O (4 DIGIT INPUT/2 DIGIT OUTPUT)

This part is to display DI/DO monitoring status, device supports 4 digit inputs(smoke, leakage, door
contact,motion,etc, the sensors will give normal or alarm signal); and support 2 digit outputs(sound light
sensor).

5.3 Parameter Settings

5.3.1 Main Monitoring

This part is to set UPS monitoring parameters, includes communications settings and alarm threshold settings.

Communications settings require to enter correct parameter which is related to UPS communication protocol;

Alarm threshold settings : user can set according to real situation.

5.3.1.1 Communication Settings

In this interface, user should configure UPS parameters related UPS communication protocol content(select correct type,
brand, communication protocol and baud rate).

5.3.1.2 Alarm Threshold Settings

This part is to set maximum and minimum thresholds for UPS related parameters

5.3.2.1 Communication Settings

Communication settings is for 485 bus query, users can set interval and disconnect time based on actual needs

5.3.2.3 Alarm Threshold Settings

Support user defined sensors’ name, maximum and minimum alarm threshold of temperature and humidity
parameters, calibration adjust and hysteresis adjust.

 Battery Strings

Battery Monitor address bit should be set as 80 to communicate with device

This part is to enable DI/DO sensors, support user define sensors’ name, and when connected sensors which
are higher than 5V, pls tick high level.

 General A/C

General A/C component address bit is start from 32

5.3.3 Network

5.3.3.1 IPV4 Settings

This part is to set network, and no need to set DNS if connect to LAN .

SSH is for web page encryption, tick means encrypted.

User can set IPV6 settings according to actual needs.

Version: SNMP V1/V2c/V3, user can enable according to actual needs.

Authorized IP:Enter IP address of SNMP platform

Community:Enter community of SNMP platform

Specific IP address and community are decided on SNMP platform, PS: if customer run SNMP function on PC(computer), so

the IP address is the PC address, it must guarantee for NetmateIII EXT have communication with SNMP platform)

Permissions: No permission

5.3.4.3 TRAP Settings

Receiver IP: Enter IP address of SNMP platform(same with Authorization Setting Authorized IP)

Community:Enter community of SNMP platform((same with Authorization Setting Community)

Receive:Authority Selection(No permission, read, read/write)

Event:Check and select receive alarm events

5.3.5 E-mail

This part is to configure email alarm.

5.3.5.1 Mail Sender Settings

User should make correct settings for sender mail


Mail Identify : no security/use TLS(TLS encryption)/use SSL(SSL encryption);
SMTP Server: to enter server domain of sender’s mail;

Port: enter the port of email server;
User name: enter mail sender’s name or mail address
Password: enter password of sender’s mail
Sender mail: enter sender’s email address

E.G we take an example of mail sender setting

5.3.5.2 Receiver Setting

This part is to enter mail receiver address, maximum support 8 receivers.

5.3.6 SMS

In this part user can configure SMS.

In this part user can enable SMS alarm and set SMS center number, SMS center number should ask local
operator; support GSM mode.

In this part user can set SMS receivers, support to select related alarm events

5.4.1 Instant Control

This part is to set remote control of UPS, General A/C, 4I2O Relay

5.4.1.1 UPS Remote Control

This part is to set UPS self-testing, shutdown and other parameters, need UPS communication protocol
support.

This part is to set remote control general air condition on/off, adjust temp and humid value; it needs to work
with General A/C component(for detailed installation procedure, please check the user manual of general air
condition component).

Software supports 2 relay output sensor, control open/close

In this part, user can add a schedule task for UPS test, need UPS communication protocol support.

5.5 History record

5.5.1 History event

This part is to record events alarm occurs time, supports to select time query and export.

5.5.2 History Data

This part is to check history data of a device within a period, support download ( the downloaded files require
a tool to open, tool can be downloaded in this page too).

5.6.1 Copyright

This part is to display device information like hardware/software version, IP/MAC address, product SN.

5.6.2 Authorization

This part is to display authorization status, device support UPS quantities, Temp&Humid sensor quantities,
4I2O quantities.

This part is to display device current time and run time, with time synchronization function.

5.6.2.2 Manual Update

This part requires user to do manual update for system time.

5.6.2.3 Auto Update

Support user defined auto update.

If user needs to add authorization service for device, please send back currently configuration code to factory.
For upgrade to a new program,click browse to find upgrade firmware and upload,then click upgrade when
upload have finished.

6. Netkit Software Introduction

6.1 Brief Introduction


Nekit software is mainly used to search device IP when user forget it, Nekit also support network setting and system time
synchronization.

6.2 Run Netkit Software

Steps:
 Run Netkit software, select NMIIIV2;
 Click research;
 Netkit will search and display LAN connected device IP address and MAC address
If user want to modify devices IP, click network settings, then modification is available.
