Exercise 1

Pay attention to the dialogue and observe the bold typed sentences/expressions.

Rani has a cough. Now, she has a consultation with her doctor. Listen to the conversation
between Rani and her doctor.

Doctor : How do you feel about an injection to cure your fever?

Rani : Well, to be honest, I don't really like it. I had a bad experience once.

Doctor : Oh, well, do you like pills?

Rani : No, I can't stand them.

Doctor : Mmmm, what about fever syrup?

Rani : That's sounds good.

Doctor : Alright. I'll write a prescription for the fever syrup you have to take.

Rani : Thank you very much.
