cover the start-up costs. Apnashipyard And Heavy Industries Pvt Ltd is a start-up company by team of
experienced mariners dedicated to providing excellent quality ships to the world, in a manner that
generates fair and equitable returns for investors, and superior value to our customers. We are
specialized and experienced in design and construction of ships of various types and size.

The international shipbuilding is experiencing explosive growth over a year after almost eight years of
poor orders worldwide. New orders in shipbuilding are pouring in. Large shipyards have started
expanding, new shipyards are sprouting and dead shipyards are attempting revive. Currently there is
no functional large private sector shipyard in India. Apnashipyard can fill up the vacuum by
maintaining high quality, on time delivery and all in a low price siting cheaper production cost in India.

1,050 ft (320.04 m) in length, 110 ft (33.53 m)

Calculation of IRR

IRR is the internal rate of return of a cash flow stream associated with an investment.

The IRR formula [=IRR(values,guess)] consists of two fields. Values is an array or a reference to
cells that contain numbers for which you want to calculate the internal rate of return. Guess is a

Large Ship Construction in India - Largest (I) Technical Knowhow to be imported from China and S
commercial ship ever constructed in Korea; (II) About 20% skilled and semi-skilled workers
India has been Aframax Tanker. available for large ships production. Remaining has to be
trained. Worker training shall consume additional time.
Hence, we have increased the building period per ship in
each dry dock to cater the lost time.

Design of large ship – India is Required to import designs at initial stages while

Large ships like VLCC have international market. Our


team has ample contacts to get a few orders, depending
on the market condition.

In case large ship orders are scant. We have already accounted for 03 ships per dry dock in
a year while our dry dock is capable of constructing 06
ships per dry dock in a year. Also, Instead of 06 VLCC size
ship, we can have 09 handysize ships per dry dock in a
year.

Residence Residence of 8000 workers. We consider providing


residence to about 8000 workers is a big issue and the
company needs to take care of the problem. In addition
to residence, employee welfare and security are other
