Creating your Pilot
All pilots begin play with
You have three words to create your character.
Choose them wisely.
If you pick negative words, undesirable traits, or
defects you get an extra syllable during mech
creation but take -1 Spirit.
How will the world react to your traits?
Challenge: friends describe you in three words.
Example Pilots
Wheelchair, genius, handsome (9 Spirit)
Anxious, Depressed, Wunderkind (8 Spirit)
Rich, Dog Owner (10 Spirit)
Creating your Mech
All pilots begin the game with 10 syllables to design
their mech.
This includes health and defensive/offensive
modifications.
Every syllable is 1 Dice (1D).
Choose which dice you’ll use. D12’s don’t get much
love.
Every 1D put into health is a max roll.
Offensive mods are rolled to deal damage.
Defensive mods are rolled to reduce damage.
Rocket launcher (rock-et-laun-cher) deals 4D
Invisibility (In-vis-I-bil-i-ty) negates 6D
Even with high defenses,
weapons can still do damage.
Even with big weapons,
defenses still have a chance.
More adjectives equal more power.

Health 4D
Laser Rifle 4D

Combat
Order is chosen by the action
If attacking with weapon, roll the weapon’s dice
Other actions, roll dice based on syllables.
(includes target)
Ram them 2D
Grapple them 3D
Lowest number goes first.
Damage is compared against defensive roll.
Excess goes to the Mech.
When a mech is reduced to 0 it is destroyed.
Any excess damage goes to the Pilot’s Spirit.
When a pilot loses any Spirit, they gain an
additional negative trait and remake their mech
with an additional syllable.
A pilot reduced to 0 Spirit become useless.
