Did Jesus tell us to take communion?

Why would Jesus say things like eat my flesh and drink my blood?
Is this a spiritual or literal meaning?

Let us first pray to God for understanding in Jesus name and read John 6:49-59

The word of God is written to reconcile the flesh to the spiritual laws of God. Therefore when Jesus
spoke of himself it is was representation of the Word of God which is spirit; which is why Jesus said
from the beginning to eat from the Tree of Life. When we eat his flesh or from the Tree of Life (word
of God) we grow spiritually (Gen. 2:9, Rev. 22:19). And to drink his blood is representation of the
baptism which is for a remission of sins. The baptism seals the new covenant that Jesus spoke of while
requiring several conditions: 1) repentance of sins, 2) believe in Jesus and his commandments, 3)
submission to God through a new covenant which seals an oath between you and God to obey his
commandments. (Hebrews 13:20, Acts 2:38, 1 Kings 2:43)

Once, the baptism is complete the individual is now forgiven of their sins of the past and is starting life
without sin as Jesus did when he was born. That is why the term "new babes" is given to new members
who have just now been put under the blood of Christ for they desire the sincere milk which is the
foundation of the word of God to walk according to his commandments. (1 Peter 2:2-3, Jeremiah
15:16)

Also as it is written in Matthew 26 Jesus is partaking of the Passover with his disciples as commanded
by God in Leviticus 23. This day is to be remembered as a memorial throughout our generations
forever which represents the blood of Jesus as a remission of sins for all who obey his commandments
(Hebrews 5:5-10); for God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son for the sins of the whole
world. (John 3:16-17, 1 John 4:8-10)

Jesus gave us his word for belief and understanding nothing more and nothing less, lets not add to what
is mentioned in scripture. If we can not read it, then we can not believe in it.

John 7:16-17
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of
myself.

Titus 1:9
Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to
exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:

1 Timothy 4:6
If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ,
nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
As brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, its about making the word of God simple through the
explanation of scripture upon scripture rather than to illustrate something not supported by scripture.
This event is known as the Passover (Leviticus 23, Matthew 26) and not the Holy Communion or the
Last Supper as the Eucharist depicts. Therefore, if any symbolism is not mentioned in God's word then
we should not express it unto one another nor believe in it; but keep true to what is written of God
rather than to believe in the commandments of man. (Mark 7:7)
