Krosnick, Lynn Harrell, Alisa Weilerstein, Yo-Yo Ma, and
Menahem Pressler, among others. In addition, Scolnik-Brower
has attended festivals including Marlboro Music Festival, Kneisel
Hall, Yellow Barn, and the Perlman Music Program.

Somin Lee is an active clarinetist in both the United States and


South Korea. She has performed as a soloist with the Seoul
National University Orchestra, Prime Philharmonic Orchestra,
and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as with the New
England Conservatory Philharmonia. From 2015–2016, Lee was
a fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center and was invited back
in 2017 to perform as a part of the contemporary music festival.
She has also performed as a member of such
ensembles as the Bucheon Philharmonic
Woodwinds Ensemble, Korean Symphony
Woodwinds Ensemble, Euro-Asian
Philharmonic Orchestra, New World Symphony,
and the Seoul National University Orchestra.
She has won first prizes in the New England
Conservatory Concerto Competition, Seoul
National University Woodwinds Competition,
Nanpa National Competition, and the Music Journal National
Competition. In 2014, her woodwind quintet was chosen as one
of the winners of the NEC Honors Competition. Lee studies with
Dong-jin Kim in Korea and is currently completing her Graduate
Diploma at NEC studying with Thomas Martin.
