Lesson Plans for week April 3

Tuesday April 3
Objectives:
● Students will work with ELA AIR test prep questions
● Students will complete the “Bullseye” activity as a class
Procedures:
● The teacher will pass out and show ELA test prep questions
● The teacher will explain the bullseye activity
● The teacher will read the sections aloud to the students
● As a class the students and the teacher will complete the bullseye activity to
identify the best answers to the test prep questions
Modifications:
● Co-teachers moving about the room helping students to get the assignments
understood and performed properly
● Students are given a practice test in preparation for the upcoming state test
● Sections of reading are read aloud to students
● Students will be working as a class
Assessments:
● Formative- Students will be completing the first bullseye activity as a class

Wednesday April 4
Objectives:
● Students will work with ELA AIR test prep questions
● Students will complete the “Bullseye” activity in groups
Procedures:
● The teacher will pass out and show ELA test prep questions
● The teacher will organize the students into groups
● The students will work in groups on the “bullseye” activity deconstructing more
ELA test prep questions
● Students will work on this until the end of the bell
Modifications:
● Co-teachers moving about the room helping students to get the assignments
understood and performed properly
● Students are given a practice test in preparation for the upcoming state test
● Sections of reading are read aloud to students
● Students will be working in groups
Assessments:
● Formative- Students will be completing the first bullseye activity in groups

Thursday April 5
Objectives:
● Students will work with ELA AIR test prep questions
● Students will complete the “Bullseye” activity alone
Procedures:
● The teacher will pass out and show ELA test prep questions
● The students will work alone on the “bullseye” activity deconstructing more ELA
test prep questions
● Students will work on this until the end of the bell
Modifications:
● Co-teachers moving about the room helping students to get the assignments
understood and performed properly
● Students are given a practice test in preparation for the upcoming state test
● Sections of reading are read aloud to students
Assessments:
● Formative- Students will be completing the first bullseye activity in groups

Friday April 6
Objectives:
● Students will prepare for their ELA Air Test with an escape room game/activity
Procedures:
● Students will complete the Word List Sort Activity
● The teacher will set up the elements of the activity
● The teacher will group students together and explain the expectations for the
game
● Students will complete each activity in the game room as students are monitored
by the teacher
● Students will complete a reflection sheet
● Students will work in groups to complete the word association sheet
Modifications:
● Students are given practice in preparation for the upcoming state test
● Co-teachers moving about the room helping students to get the assignments
understood and performed properly
● All assignments and worksheets read aloud
● Students will be working in groups
Assessments:
● Formative- Students will be completing the Escape Room Activity
