a commitment to the journey. In life we have the choice to take a journey and the journey is a specific goal or adventure or choice or some type of idea that will give you a better future. It doesn’t matter what your journey is but you made a choice to grow as a human and not a lot of people do that. Sometimes you get what you want very easily, but actually that can be sort of a letdown that why you see people that have become finically successful depressed because the feel that they have reached their ultimate goal, and that they have nothing to pursue. When they were we after becoming wealthy they had some divining moments in their live and learned some really harsh things. And their pursuit was exciting but afterwards it was no longer there. But when you decide to step up and better you live the whole concept that everything happens for a reason. Assuming that you have a commitment to the journey when bad things happen you perceive that everything happens for a reason will help you understand and be grateful for what you earned. But on the other side it can be really brutal when the journey has not really yielding anything at all and that can be really brutal as well. So when you do get the benefits of you journey really really enjoy it. No… I MEAN REALLY REALLY REALLY ENJOY IT. But when on your journey you are enjoying the small victories when you get them, but you are continuously to learn. There are people where things become easy to them, where they were born wealthy or achieve success really easy. Those people are week, really soft because they become frustrated so easily, the things that through them off their center, are so diminutive, small and pathetic, they have no concept of harshness is, or adversity or setback is. Because they have not had to work really hard to get something they generally speaking have a lack of appreciation for it a lack of perspective they generally live a sheltered life. So when you have had to work for something it allows you to realize who you are, you’re not identifying yourself with external things, for instance how people perceive you, your reputation, or what you have. It has its origins from some place internal, something more solid more centered. So you will have a greater richer context of life. A good analogy is to imagine a tree and for how tall the grows tall its roots have to grow deep so there is a constant balance. But there a lot of people who are just trying to grow the tree without the roots to balance them. So they become top heavy and fall over. But on the other hand there is a Buddhist Monk that does not have anything that’s just a shrub but has roots forever, which you don’t want to be either. But cultivating both is really important. If you choose to stop in your journey for a better life, they will stagnate, and eventually they will be brought to a place of severe pain. Because life is dynamic always changing. I guy in entrepreneurship who decides that he has reached his goals and can let his business coast. Will find out very differently, the business environment will change and eventually he will lose. So when chose to take the journey in the pursuit of a better life, and always course correcting and finding solutions, always be pushing for a better life. And be flexible choose to be awesome, choose to rock
