INTRODUCTION
Eskweda is a song of Mr. Raul Beray which talk about
Ibaloi culture give more important to education. The title
of the song Eskweda is a term which means education.
Many Ibaloi nowadays are very resilient to strive in
their studies most of them are well known in their
respective professions not only here in our country but
also globally competitive in other countries. Mostly
ibaloi”s especially in the part of the Municipality of Bokod
gives value of their Educational Attaintment,
Ex.Governor Raul Molintas and Congressman Ronald
Cosalan are few of them. This song serve to teach
indigenous Ibaloi people to preserve their culture to the
next generation about how they sustained their
education with patience and perseverance.
In this song it signifies that ibaloi’s are friendly and
hardworking people, they value friendship and
education that much to gain more knowledge and for
better future.
