B.V. Raju Institute of Technology (BVRIT) was
established by the eminent philanthropist (Late) Padmasri
Dr. B.V. Raju under the aegis of Sri Vishnu Educational
Society (SVES) in the year 1997. BVRIT was granted
UGC - Autonomous Status from the year 2014. The
Institute is also duly approved by the AICTE and the
Government of Telangana State and is affiliated to JNTU,
HYDERABAD. BVRIT is accredited by NBA and NAAC.
This institution is also looked after by a body of
distinguished professionals from IITs, NITs, University
engineering and government sectors, led by Sri K.V.Vishnu
Raju garu. He is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from
REC, Trichy and a postgraduate from Michigan
Technological University, USA.
About Department:
The Department of Electrical and Electronics
Engineering was established in the year 1997 for imparting
a state of the art education, training and research in the field
of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and allied areas.
The department has been so structured, in terms of
experienced staff and excellent laboratory facilities. It
offers U.G with intake of 120 students, P.G with intake of
36 students (Electrical Power Systems – 18, Power
Engineering and Energy System – 18). The department is
accredited by NBA.
Objectives of the RAPIDEET-2018:
The broad objective is to give the research
scholars/ Industry Participants/ students a scope to interact
and widen their research ideas, develop their analytical
skills and motivate them to pursue further research.
However, the specific objectives are:
1. To identify the gap in theory and practice and to fill the
gap with suitable suggestions.
2. To provide a platform for intellectual interaction and
give feedback for the research scholars to widen their
research network.
3. To provide a platform for academicians, doctoral
students and researchers to present their research work
and proposals.
4. Forum for discussion on best practices in research.
5. An opportunity for research aspirants to explore a new
or emerging field.
