Oracle Learn Cloud System Requirements
Introduction
The Oracle Learn Cloud System Requirements describe the minimum requirements for using
Oracle Learn Cloud on Administrative and User workstations. Items that are optional are
noted. This document also describes character sets, supported SCORM and AICC standards,
and the languages currently supported by LearnCenter.

Oracle Learn Cloud System Requirements
The following are the minimum requirements for Administrator and User workstations.
Administrators are Users who are responsible for using the features accessible on the
Administrator ControlPanel. Users are the end-users who access content, courses, and
classes in LearnCenter.
Administrator Workstations
The following are the minimum system requirements for administrator workstations.
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, and 10* (LearnCenter fully supports Internet Explorer 10
for both end Users and Supervisors. Administrators may still experience some issues with
Internet Explorer® 10 in certain areas of the Control Panel, and when using the WYSIWYG
editor. For Administrators, we recommend using Internet Explorer® 10 in compatibility mode
or using another supported browser until we resolve these issues.)
• Firefox 3x, 4, Current Version* (due to Firefox pushing browser updates automatically, the
Learn product is tested against 3x, 4, and whatever the latest version is)
• Safari 5.1x
• Chrome Current Version* (due to Chrome pushing browser updates Learn can only be
tested against the current version at the time of release)
• Secure Mode
o To restrict the user of browser cookies, you can setup your site address under Internet
Options > Privacy > Sites and Manage to block or allow the cookies for the specified
sites. Important: Cookies are required for use of the following features:
o Advanced privacy Settings can help – Override automatic cookie handling and allow
session cookies can be allowed.

o Cleaning Browsing History, Tools > Internet Options > Delete…(under browsing
history) > Delete all… delete files and settings stored by add-ons can be checked.
o Close the Internet Explorer to clear cookies that are still in memory from current
browsing sessions.
o Setting for Temporary Internet Files should always be set to ‘every time I visit the
webpage’ to check for newer versions of stored pages.

User Workstations
The following are the minimum system requirements for user workstations.

disabled in PayPal Manager to prevent a possible authorization response timing issue that
could result in incorrect credit card charges.

• Each User installation requires a license. You will receive license keys from Actuate
Licensing when you purchase the product from them.
o Apple : 4 and 5
• LearnCenter includes two (2) iServer Profile Account usernames, which you will use to
access the Actuate® BIRT® iServer. Initially, one account is assigned to the default
LearnCenter "ADMINISTRATOR" username, but you can reassign it to another User. You
can assign the second account username to any other LearnCenter Admin who will be
responsible for working with Designer Pro. Contact your Oracle Customer Account Manager
if you need more than two iServer accounts. There is no charge for additional accounts. See
the online help topic called “Report Settings” (Options > System Options > Reports Settings)
for additional details about these accounts.

familiar with Designer Pro.
