of facebook like students talk with hundreds of their friends without going anywhere.
They exchange their thoughts about religion, politics, economical and current issues in
their country. By using facebook they collect useful information which they share in class
and groups. This is bright side of facebook, there is also dark side of facebook as it
affects student’s grades. Those students who give more time to facebook get poor grades
as compare to those who do not give time to facebook or those who do not have an
account on facebook.
This study will prove that how facebook affects study of students of Punjab

morning and self-supporting. In this way i collected the data of 300 students from twelve
departments.
Descriptive and inferential statistical techniques were employed for data analysis.
In descriptive statistics, the means, and percentages were calculated and in inferential
statistics, t-test and one-way ANOVA were also calculated to interpret the results.

Discussion
The study topic was to explore the effects of usage of face book on students of master
program of university of the Punjab students of morning. First objective was to examine
the extent of using of face book by the students of Punjab University. Then second
objective was to examine the purpose of using face book like entertainment by the
students. Third objective was to assess the difference of opinion about face book purpose
of use by gender, education etc. This research was basically conducted with an objective
to measure the effects of usage of face book on study of students, which was measured by
calculating mean and standard deviation. The findings of this research mentioned in

signed up for the social network website. This study shows how Face book users average

Recommendations
Following are the recommendations based on the results and findings of the study.
I conducted the research on Punjab university students. Researcher may collect the data
Future researchers may collect the data also from other cities of Pakistan.
The future researcher may use easy language for collection of data which is easily
The future researchers may collect the data from old age persons not only from students.
