METHOD STATEMENT FOR THE

INSTALLATION OF MCC ROOF, CORNER

AND FLOOR PANELS

1. PURPOSE:
This method statement shall be use for the purpose of fixing Agbada MCC floor,
corner and roof covering panels.
2. SCOPE:
The scope of this routine maintenance involves;
a) Installation of mineral wool.
b) Covering panel installation.
c) Housekeeping.
3. EQUIPMENT S AND TOOLS
a) Equipment: Filing / grinding machines, Hand Drilling machine.
b) Tools: Screw drivers, handsaw and Pliers.

SEQUENCE OF WORK

a. Installation of mineral wool:

i. Cut mineral wool to sizes.
ii. Affix mineral wool to floor, corner and roof openings.

b. Covering panel installation:

i. Cut steel sheets to sizes where needed
ii. Drill holes of correct dimension with a hand drilling machine
iii. Fix panels and securely hold them in position with screws

c. Housekeeping:
i. Clear environment of work
ii. Gather mineral wool debris
iii. Clear Panel off-cuts
