 Provided people who inject drugs with clean supplies and appropriate education in efforts of reducing HIV,
viral hepatitis, and other blood borne infections by using sterile needles for every injection
 Helped assess clients’ potential abscesses and assist with referrals to suitable medical providers

Banner Healthy Together Internship: Tucson, AZ January 2018-February 2018
 Accompanied nurse practitioner, registered nurse, pharmacist, social worker, and community health partner to
improve care for dual Medicare/Medicaid eligible patients
 Assisted with patient’s home healthcare in hopes of reducing avoidable hospitalization and emergency
