TREATMENT OF DATA

All the data gathered was treated confidentially. The researchers had carefully tallied all

the results of the respondents to ensure the validity of the data collected. All responses

were analyzed and interpreted using the percentage system, weighted mean and

frequency counts.

The following methods were used in order to come up with the interpretation and

analysis as accurate as possible:

1. Slovin’s Formula

n= N/(1+Ne^2)

Where:

n= desired sample size

N= total population

e= margin of error

Computation:

n= 236/(1+236 X 0.1^2)

n= 176
2. Percentage Computation

𝑓
%= 𝑥100
𝑛

Where:

% = percentage

f = Number of respondents for every item

N= Total number of respondents

3. Weighted Mean

∑𝑛𝑖 = 1𝑋𝑖
𝑥̅ =
𝑛

Where:

𝑥̅ = mean

∑𝑛𝑖 = 1𝑋𝑖 = sum of all scores

𝑛= sample size
