o Students will form two lines with two chairs in
each line.
o To begin, the student in the line on the right will
begin with the ball.
o After 1-2 pushes, the student will pass the ball to
the other student before continuing to the basket.

student will navigate their chair to the right line,
giving their chair to the next student in line.
o After all students have performed a layup from
the right side, the student in the left line will then
begin with the ball.

o In this drill, two students will be designated as
“offense” and one student will be the defensive
player.

and one defensive line.
o Students on offense will attempt to complete three
passes, avoiding the defender
o If the defensive player gains possession of the
ball, players will give their chair to the next
person from their line and join the next line to the
right. If the offensive players complete three
passes, they will give their chair to the next
person in their line and join the next line to the
right.
o The defensive player will practice defending
offensive players without commiting a foul.
● Practice drill 4 - Free-throw shooting (2 chairs)
o Students will line up around the edge of the key,
rotating clockwise. The first two students will be
in wheelchairs.
o Students will take turns taking two shots each.
After taking their two shots, they will give their
chair to the “on deck” student and continue to
rotate clockwise.
o Students are not required to shoot from the free-
throw line. Students can move up to a distance
where they feel comfortable and move back in
successive turns if they choose.

● Students will form a single file line behind the
free-throw line. The first 5-6 students will be in
chairs and the first two students will have a
