Taught students about ethical dilemmas journalists are likely to face and procedures for
making decisions about those dilemmas. Covered topics like codes of ethics, deception and
fabrication, confidential sources, conflicts of interest, watchdog journalism, privacy, as well
as video, photo, and online ethical issues.

Taught students to write news and magazine features as well as create multimedia. Covered
topics like finding story ideas, how to write strong feature stories, selling their work, research
