EMCEE SCRIPT FOR PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION

CUE TEXT NOTES

ATTENTION The competition is going to start any minute from now. All
the contestants and the guests are invited to come inside
the hall and take your seats. Thank you.

INTRO Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh and a very

good morning to all of you.

On behalf of the organising committee, we are pleased to

welcome all of you to our school as the hosting school for
this year’s Public Speaking Competition. Without wasting
more time, allow me to start our program.

For your information, there are 23 schools altogether who

participate in this year’s competition.

WELCOME Before we start, I would like to invite our beloved

SPEECH headmistress Puan Suraiyah bt Sulaiman to give her
speech. Please welcome.

JUDGES First, let me introduce to all of you our judges for today.

Our first judge Ms Kaithery Sukumaran.

Second judge is Ms Yeoh Hai Nin.

Third judge is Ms Vinothini Magaintharan.

Forth judge is Ms Mekala Dharmalingam.

Last but not least, our two chief judges Ms Harminder Kaur
and Ms Indraselvi Muthusamy.

RULES AND Before we proceed, I would like to invite our chief judge
REGULATIONS ______________________________ to read the rules and
regulations for today’s competition.

SPLIT VENUES For your information, our public speaking competition will be
divided into two venues. Contestant number 1 until number
12 will perform their public speaking here in this hall.

Whereas contestant number 13 until number 23 will move to

the library and carry on with their public speaking there.

You may now move to your respective venue.

With that, all contestants have delivered their speeches. We

will take a short break to give time to our honourable judges
to calculate the marks. The result will be announced very

The results are already in my hand. But before that, I would
like to invite the headmistress of SK 2 Tengku Bendahara
Azman, Puan Suraiyah bt Sulaiman to come up to the stage,
accompanied by Encik Zaharudin bin Ibrahim, GPK Co-
Curricular to hand over the prizes to the TOP SIX for this
year district level public speaking competition for primary
 schools.

But before we announce the results, we would like to give

away souvenirs to all the judges as a token of appreciation.

bin Ibrahim for giving away the prizes to all top six speakers
just now. We hope that this competition will be a sweet
memory to all the contestants nevertheless you win or lose.
Bear in mind that everyone is a winner as you have battle
yourself to step on the stage to overcome your fear and
deliver your speech.

That’s all for today’s event. On behalf of the organising
