Market research regarding Housing Loans

II. Description of Internship in brief:

The home loan sector in India is the pivotal role player in the growth of the real estate scenario in India. House prices in India are rapidly
rising due to lack of a well-developed market and a chronic shortage of housing. So affordable housing is introduced. Affordable housing is
a housing which is deemed affordable to those with a median household income as rated by the national government or a local government
by a recognized housing affordability index. Essel Finance is one of India's leading private sector financial services company. As an
umbrella brand for the financial businesses of the Essel Group, they offer a diverse range of services and products across corporate finance
and retail sectors. The various products of Essel home loans include Home Purchase, Home construction and extension, home
improvement, composite loan (plot purchase and construction), Loan against property (LAP) and commercial purchase. The project
includes visiting the respondents for the research, asking them questions and noting down their responses in the given sheets, compiling the
responses and analyzing the responses and details collected from various builders, Direct Selling Agents and Connectors.The research
report based on the analysis is submitted to the company manager.

III. Objective of the Internship:

To find the target customers for affordable housing loan

IV. Methodology:

Collecting primary data with the help of questionnaires from various builders, Direct Selling Agents(DSA) and Connectors.

V. Schedule:

19th Feb 2018 to 31st May 2018

VI. Limitations of the Study:

As we are targeting affordable housing, the builders of those areas are difficult to reach and locations are difficult to track.
