PROCEDURE
Introduction Time
Teacher will: 8:05-8:20

do.
-You can call me Sydney in the classroom, I am from the University of Lethbridge and this is my second
practicum in the Education program. I will teaching you for the next six weeks until March 20 th
-I am in the BA/Bed program. I have been studying psychology and sociology, and physical education. I have a
passion for fitness and health, which I will try and draw into every class I teach you!
-My philosophy in the classroom is that I am open to any type of questions you may have, you can come see
me and talk to me at any time in the day. I want to get to know you, and I hope you want to get to know me
as well!
RULES:
-One rule I have in the classroom to begin with is when I am talking you are not. I believe it is important that
we respect one another, and that includes your classmates to. I am okay if you call my name, but raising your
hand is preferred.
-I believe it is very important that we also help one another, so in each class period, if you have a question
and you are struggling with something, ask two of your classmates first, and then if you are still struggling
after that, come to me and then I will address the problem, question etc. to the whole class. Usually when
one person has a question, that means multiple students may have that same questions.
-I am new to computers, so I may even learn a few tips and tricks from you guys, and if there is any time
throughout the time I am here, that you want to show me anything or introduce me to any topic, web based
platform, or site, please come and show me! I am very excited to teach this class, and have you as my class, so
lets make sure we are all welcome, having open arms to one another and to me as well!
-I will also make it my responsibility to ask you everyday fist to five how well the class went, what level of on-
task work was had throughout the class period, and then I will dismiss you.
