A Malayalam language Professor of Newman College, Thodupuzha Idukki, District,
Kerala-State, INDIA, composed a question paper in Malayalam language. The
controversial part of it is explained below.
Malayalam Language Examination for BCom second semester Part B,
Question 11. For following prose add suitable signs and write.
Mohammad called: Creator
God answers: What is it son of a bitch (Dog)
Mohammad asked to God: If one fish is cut how many pieces will it be
(Small fish about the size of a sardine)
God answered: How many times I have to tell you three pieces bitch (Dog)

Professor T. J. Joseph has two more years for retirement. After continuing more than
a decade as a lecturer becomes a professor. How could you expect such a question
paper from him?
Language teachers are to teach good and beautiful language, which is generally
known as classic language. In general most of them behave like clever guys
describing everything in filthy style and also pretend to be experts in using
SPOONERISM (Transposition of initial consonants in a pair of words)
T. J. Joseph has used a vulgar language
Since such conversation is based between Mohammad and Allah; it is considered as
blasphemy. No one would tolerate it, so as Muslim community.

I found it interesting to learn T. J. Josephs theory of creating the question paper.

RASAK is well known person. No matter how loving he is and how much we love
him when our society consisting our family does not want him he will be
dismayed. From this spot or point I create a play script. Processes of saying like this
becomes convincing myself. From this mental process when a conviction is
established, it has created a platform. These platforms are found in our everyday
life.
In a 1999 year Malayalam movie was made
namely GARSHOME. May be meaning Pravasi,
Stranger, Paradesi? Hebrew origin word.

There is a scene in this movie; the hero in this movie is talking to God. Joseph got
this platform from the following. In his place there is an insane man. This man all
alone calls upon God, this is one man dialogue, he asks questions and he himself
answers as Allah.
Allah then Allah answers What is it, son of a bitch
If I cut small fish like sardine, how many pieces will it be?
I have told you, three pieces, you bitch.
Joseph says this is the dialogue he has used. We get such platforms in our life.
Movies are born from our life. This is my approach to my life Joseph combined
GARSHOME picture and added an insane mans dialogue. He named that nut
Mohammed who is talking to Allah.
The school management could not accept this explanation. So they dismissed him
later.
Being a Christian why Joseph has to mock at Mohammed and Allah. He knows very
well, unlike anyone else, Muslim community is very much sensitive about their
religion. Rivalry between Christians started from 11th century; from the time
Europeans started Crusades and continued it for two centuries. Muslim world is very
much irritated and upset by Christian countries attitude towards them, Since after
US invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan and with the on going friction between US and
Iran. Few days back a US pastor declared the burning of a Quran on 9/11. Though it
did not take place assuming it took place few Christians got killed as revenge.
T. J. Joseph has enough worldly and general knowledge of happenings around the
globe. Apart from that, the Bible instructs good behavior and conversation for
everyone. Being a language teacher he has to read a lot. He could read his Bible and

follow the instructions, whereby he could even get a national award for an
outstanding teacher. Now he has become world famous with a bad reputation. Being
a Christian, why T. J. Joseph did not use any of the Biblical characters and Jesus
instead of Allah and Mohammad?
From the Bible
Mathew 15: 21-28 Behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and
cried to Jesus, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is
grievously vexed with a devil. But Jesus answered her not a word. His disciples came
and besought him, saying; Send her away; for she cries after us. But Jesus
answered and said, I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel Then
came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But Jesus answered and said,
It is not me to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. She said, Truth,
Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs, which fall from their masters' table. Then Jesus
answered to her, O woman, great is your faith: be it to you even as you will. And her
daughter was made whole from that very hour.
The usage of dog is very clearly stated in the Bible, no matter in what sense Jesus
spoke to the Canaan-Woman. If T. J. Joseph ever quoted this part from the Bible
even Pope could not harm him. You really have to feel sorry for T. J. Josephs
ignorance of the Bible and his misuse of Mohammad and Creator (Allah) in his
question paper. A Muslim religious group got furious about T. J. Josephs question
paper and decided to eliminate Joseph. They have cut him with swords several times
and chopped off his right palm, but in the scuffle they could not kill him. They are
not 13th century knights to play with swords, just ordinary people with crude
swords. The cut off palm got mended in a specialty hospital. It may take a long time
to become normal which itself is not certain. Nobody can admit, what the radicals did
was right but extremely cruel. The criminal case is on against the perpetrators. T. J.
Josephs College is under Catholic Management. The management has taken a
disciplinary action against Joseph so they suspended him for an inquiry and further
action. The education Minister of the state said T. J. Joseph was foolish to make such
a question paper, besides T. J. Joseph; there are some other foolish teachers also
like him. The New Man College authorities said; T. J. Joseph did not make a proper
apology to the management. T. J. Joseph explained the circumstances of making the
question paper and also said how he derived at it, and he is innocent, so his case
needs to be reconsidered. Management could not accept this explanation as an
apology. He should admit, he was wrong and must also say he apologize for it. This
did not happen. T. J. Joseph said, he was not prepared to apologize for the mistake,
the Management is accusing on him; which he has not done and he does not want
any favors from the management on that basis. T. J. Joseph got tough with the
management so as the management to him. After completing the enquiry and
receiving T. J. Josephs unsatisfactory explanation, the management dismissed him. I
was never been an employer, but an employee. Far as I am concerned, I believe,
providing a job is a favor from the employer and not my right to get an employment
even if I am qualified. I will not stick with a job, where I cannot get along with the
employer; I would rather look for another job.
In general Indians are not like that, they will stick to that job and keep fighting until
everything becomes worse. Working for someone is not favor but a commitment for
the salary I get. Modern employees claim labor is their favor to the employer that is
why the employer gets rich. Without an employer no laborer can be engaged and

without a laborer, employer cannot get anything done; both are inseparable and
unavoidable and none is greater than the other.
Soon after T. J. Josephs dismissal, criticism began to pour in from all quarters. As a
result, management was getting suffocated. To justify and to support the
management, Catholic Church crept in and said, What the management done was
right and the Church supports it. Sooner the Catholic Church got involved, the
political parties opposing the Church also turned against - the management and
Catholic Church against T. J. Josephs dismissal.
In this modern society, priests have become white-collar troublemakers and this
incident, is an excellent proof of it. If they never got in between T. J. Joseph and
management, it would not have gone this far. Now everything is a mess!!!!! It was
totally unwarranted for the Church to get involved; it was none of their business to
say any remarks, even if the college was belonging to Catholics. Church always
behaves like an Empire and the high priest as an Emperor. Nearer to Church is far
away from God Priests are the closest people to the church and farthest from
God!!!!!! The Church is not an institution to punish someone for what he has done.
The Church is based on Jesus teaching and they should go by what the Bible says.
What did Jesus Say?
Mathew 18:21-22 Then came Peter to Jesus, and said, Lord, how often shall my
brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus said to Peter, I
say not to you, until seven times: but until seventy times seven
According to Jesus there is no limit for forgiveness, then how the Catholic Church can
speak about punishments.
The Church has the spiritual and moral responsibility to forgive T. J. Joseph seventy
times seven, if T. J. Joseph ever approaches the Church. T. J. Joseph never
approached the Church, in which case the Church should have kept their mouth shut.
If he ever did approach the church, the Church will have to forgive him according to
the Bible. Church and Management are two different things. To take disciplinary
action is for the working management and not for the God-father Church. The
Church went completely out of their way, when the Church declared, management
was right. Because Joseph was brutally assaulted by a religious faction, it does
mean, the management can take no disciplinary action. If management does not
take any action, it shows the reluctance of management not to take any action
against T. J. Joseph when bemocked another religion. Why T. J. Joseph should be
dismissed after a suspension?
Suspension is not a punishment but separation from duty until the enquiry is finished
for a final action. In such case, depending on the seriousness of the offense
committed, one could be pardoned and reinstated or he could be relieved
permanently. If the offender feels, he did not get justice; he should approach the
next higher authority or even judiciary. You can ignore what the church said because
they have no legitimate authority over the management. There is no point in
debating on this subject and tarnishing each other.
People are making the whole theme, as a religious and political issue, for further
hatred, communalism and separatism. If anyone says dismissal is worse than

chopping palm, it can only buy sympathy and it does not solve anything. Bear in
mind, everything you think, speak and write or you do; If not, it can only bring even
unexpected disaster.
If you wish to debate on it, you are free to do so but I am not interested. I have no
raeson to support,

2) 2) The College Management or
3) 3) The Church.
Let them sort it out and I will only wait to see the outcome for the curiosity
sake. No matter who wins at last, is not my botheration!!! I just explained the
whole story for you readers sake to have the full picture of it, without any
partiality to anyone. Let T. J. Joseph have a speedy recovery from all his physical
and mental wounds, until then have a word of prayer for him.
One thing is for sure, who ever attacked Joseph and his family and what they
have done is the most inhuman, something done by outlaws. There are many
ways of settling issues, which were not sought.
Whatever happened to Joseph is very unfortunate
