Having students reflect upon when working collaboratively went well for them

allowed them to see the similarities in all of their examples.


Additionally, by having students think about when working in groups might not have gone
well, they identified traits that are not conducive to group success.
Supporting one another and sharing are some
traits of thinking interdependently that
students initially identified.
Being distracted from the initial goal is another concept that
students identified as getting in the way of thinking
interdependently.
