The percentages for Hufflepuff and Slytherin will probably not be equal, so I
think a 30-70 distribution for Hufflepuff.

Moon or stars?
Hufflepuff could have a 1/3-2/3 probability distribution for moon and stars.

Each house corresponds to one answer. This one is very obvious given the
houses' traits.
1. Gryffindor = Cowardly.
2. Ravenclaw = Ignorant.
3. Hufflepuff = Selfish.
4. Slytherin = Ordinary.

Gryffindor seems to have a preference for the Dragon toad and the Tabby
cat but favors the other pets more or less equally.
Ravenclaw favors owls most along with the Three toed tree toad, then cats
and toads equally.
Hufflepuff favors toads most along with the Snowy owl, then owls and cats
equally.
Slytherin favors cats most (with a slight dislike for the tabby cat), then
owls and toads equally.
Based on these observations I think the best indicators for a house are:
1. Gryffindor = Glory.
2. Ravenclaw = Wisdom.
3. Hufflepuff = Love.
4. Slytherin = Power.
All houses have their own answer and can score on other answers as well.
1. Gryffindor = Draw your wand and try to discover the source of the noise.
2. Ravenclaw = Withdraw into the shadows to await developments.
3. Hufflepuff = Proceed with caution.
4. Slytherin = Draw your wand and stand your ground.
Ravenclaw and Slytherin both have two primary answers. Gryffindor and
Hufflepuff have primary answers and secondary answers.
Here each house has two favored answers. The defining traits for the four
houses are probably as follows:
1. Gryffindor cares most about a nearly perfected cure for dragon pox.
2. Ravenclaw cares most about the mysterious handbook full of strange
runes.
3. Hufflepuff cares least about the mysterious handbook full of strange runes.
4. Slytherin cares least about a nearly perfected cure for dragon pox.
The first and last question contain traits from 2 houses, so those houses score
equally.
I think here each house has its primary answer where it dominates and a
secondary answer where it scores equally to another house.
