Numbers of Cars In and Out on Graha Rektorat Building Parking Zone

Parking Zone Information

Location : Graha Rektorat’s courtyard
Type of parking zone : Car and Motorcycle only

Introduction
The researchers were interested to conduct the observation in order to see how
many numbers of cars in and out on Graha Rektorat Building Parking Zone are. Cars
becomes the researcher’s objective because it was easy to be counted.
The observation has been held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. It was started at 08.50
a.m. to 10.30 a.m. The time of observation was divided by five phase.
The researcher used record and count method to done the observation. In this
method, the researcher also record the brand and license plate of the cars.

Observation Analysis
According to the data that had been recorded, there were no any difference of
numbers of cars in and out in the each of phase of the observation time. In the interval of
08.51 a.m. to 09.10 a.m. there were already 28 cars on the parking zone and there were
no cars that entered and exit parking zone in this interval. The researcher didn’t know
what the time of these cars entered the parking zone because these cars has been already
on there. 28 cars consist of 23 cars with license plate of Malang and 5 cars with license
plate of outside of Malang. These cars were 10 Toyota’s cars, 4 Honda’s cars, 2 KIA’s
cars, 5 Suzuki’s cars, 2 Nissan’s cars, 1 Hyundai’s cars, 3 Daihatsu’s and 1 Izuzu’s cars.
In the interval of 09.11 a.m. to 09.30 a.m., there were 5 cars in and 3 cars out. All
of cars in were cars with license plate of Malang. These cars were 3 Toyota’s cars and 2
Honda’s cars. And the 3 cars out consist of 2 cars with license plate of Malang and 1 car
with license of outside of Malang. These cars were 2 Toyota’s cars and 1 Honda’s car.
In the interval of 09.31 a.m. to 09.50 a.m., there were only 2 cars that entered the
parking zone and 2 cars also that exit the parking zone. All of cars that entered the
parking zone were cars with license plate of Malang. These cars were Toyota’s cars. And
2 other cars that exit the parking zone were also cars with license plate of Malang. These
cars were 1 Toyota’s car and 1 Daihatsu’s car.
In the interval of 09.51 a.m. to 10.10 a.m., there were 3 cars that entered the
parking zone and 3 cars also that exit the parking zone. All of cars that entered the
parking zone were cars with license plate of Malang. These cars were 2 Honda’s cars and
1 Suzuki’s cars. And 3 other cars that exit the parking zone were also cars with license
plate of Malang. These cars were 1 Toyota’s cars, 1 Honda’s cars, and 1 Suzuki’s cars.
 In the last phase of observation which is in interval of 10.11 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.,
there were 4 cars with license plate of Malang that entered the parking zone. These cars
were 2 Toyota’s cars, 1 Suzuki’s car, and 1 Daihatsu’s car. And there was 1 car with
license of Malang that exit the parking zone. This car was Nissan’s car.

Conclusion
The observation conducted in the Graha Rektorat’s parking zone was run well.
According to the observation data, the researchers can conclude that the numbers
between cars that entered to parking zone and cars that exit from parking zone wasn’t too
different. Most of these cars were cars with license plate of Malang and brand of Toyota.
