Taman Cabaran

Taman Cabaran is a park that takes physical activities

to the extreme. The newly opened 46.73ha park offers
an opportunity for more active recreation such as
jogging, mountain biking, grass slope play activities
and adventurous pursuits for children. Premised on the
theme ‘Challenge Park’, this park is positioned as an
active recreation centre within the setting of a ‘natural’
environment. The centre for extreme sports competition
and organized training offers physically challenging
activities amidst facilities that would position Putrajaya
as a venue for world class competitions.

Incorporating three keys elements – Wall Climbing

Complex, Skate Park and Bike Trail, this sports park
is probably the largest of its kind in South East Asia.
No effort has been spared to ensure that the park’s
natural topography has remained intact while its
design conforms to international standards. Facilities
for extreme sports are a big draw in this park together
with walking and jogging trails, mountain bike trails, wall
climbing, skate board facilities and inline skating park.

However, along the ridge, look out points, pavilions,

sheltered rest areas and viewing towers complement
and afford spots for rest and relaxation while low gradient
walking trails offer a horde of passive recreational
activities. The park also contributes as an educational
resource by encouraging the study of nature with its
natural habitat walks, interpretive information boards
and observatory.
