Assessment This will be able to be shown during the end game “Around the World” pickleball.

Cognitive SLO SWBAT hit the ball in a specific direction or a specific distance when prompted correctly 3 out of 6 times.
Assessment This is shown during all of the drills when they have to keep the ball in their specific space and learning how to hit with speed,
force, and trajectory tp make sure they are not letting the ball go in other students spaces, also allowing for a safe
atmosphere.
SHAPE National Standard Cooperates with multiple classmates on problem-solving initiatives including adventure activities, large-group
initiatives and game play. (S4.M5.8)
Affective SLO SWBAT work with their classmates to rotate properly, call balls in or out, and problem solve during gameplay.
Assessment Teacher check and visibly seeing if there are any disagreements or confrontations from peer to peer interactions.
Introductory Statement SO……. today we are going to start our pickleball unit much like tennis, what is is called if you hit the ball on your dominant
(Anticipatory Set) side? Forehand…. What about your non dominant hand? Backhand…. Good….. Well today those are the two shots we are
going to wrk on, while also learning how to hold the paddle right. Let’s get started!!!!
