SHAPE National Standard Demonstrates the mature form of forehand and backhand strokes with a short-or long-handled implement with
power and accuracy in net games such as pickleball, tennis, badminton or paddle ball.
(S1.M14.8)
Psychomotor SLO SWBAT successfully swing the paddle in a forehand motion with contact being made 4 out of 5 times.
Assessment This will be able to be shown during the end game “Around the World” pickleball.

SHAPE National Standard Varies the speed, force and trajectory of the shot based on location of the object in relation to the target. (S2.M9.8)
Cognitive SLO SWBAT hit the ball in a specific direction or a specific distance when prompted correctly 3 out of 6 times.
Assessment This is shown during all of the drills when they have to keep the ball in their specific space and learning how to hit with speed,
force, and trajectory tp make sure they are not letting the ball go in other students spaces, also allowing for a safe
atmosphere.

SHAPE National Standard Cooperates with multiple classmates on problem-solving initiatives including adventure activities, large-group
initiatives and game play. (S4.M5.8)
Affective SLO SWBAT work with their classmates to rotate properly, call balls in or out, and problem solve during gameplay.
Assessment Teacher check and visibly seeing if there are any disagreements or confrontations from peer to peer interactions.
