This will be on display during competitive games of pickleball. Students will have to follow the rules and will hold each other
accountable because there is competition. Teachers will also watch over the games

Introductory Statement “Alright class today before we begin we are going to review some stuff from day one! Who can tell me the grip we use when
we hit with out forehand? *Handshake grip*. Alright now what do we do with our grip on a backhand? *Higher thumb
(Anticipatory Set) position*. Alright awesome, now today we are going to focus on competitive gameplay, does anyone know what the double
bounce rule is? Teachers will continue to explain double bounce rule, talk about etiquette and sportsmanship when playing
games in class.

winners of each game moving to the left and the losers 1 ball per court
staying on the same court. The furthest court away will
be the championship court.
All rules will be in play during these games including
double bounce rule/ kitchen play/ serving and rally
scoring. Bryce and I will walk around “officiating” each
game and offering feedback to students
4 minute Overall review Teachers should demonstrate clearly and Students will put their paddles/balls
(40 total) in this time bryce and I will tell students what they did provide easy to understand cues up and will be in their squad lines or
really well what they could work on and finish with (Watch for glazed eyes) standing in a group
