INTRODUCTION:
All private schools have to admit 25% children from weaker sections and disadvantaged
groups from their neighbourhood for free education. If the induction class is class 1, then
25% children will be admitted therein each year, but if the induction is done in pre-school
(nursery or KG), then the 25% quota is applicable there as well.
Private aided schools shall have to admit children from similar backgrounds in the proportion
of aid they receive from the government, in the induction class each year, and will not receive
any extra reimbursement for these children. For example, if the total annual contribution from
the government to an aided school is 70% of its total recurring expenditure for a particular
year, it will have to admit 70% children in the induction class that year.
Either of these admissions each year shall be in the induction class only, and not for each
class of the elementary stage.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:
For the project, the researcher will be relying upon the Doctrinal method as well as
Non-Doctrinal method of Research.
HYPOTHESIS:
The researcher presumes that the private schools play a vital role in providing
education to the society. Also, the private schools are following the guidelines of the
RTE.
PILOT SURVEY
The researcher has successfully conducted a pilot survey on a small sample from the target
group before opting for the non-doctrinal mode of research or going for a field study and
found it very useful and helping in due course of research. In this the Researcher pre-tested
his prepared set of questions to two employs of the Indian Railways in his neighboring
locality and took their interview in a more informal way.
This pilot survey done by the researcher helped him a lot as it helped him pre visualize the
whole process and method by which the final survey should be conducted. The researcher
was also able to find out the loopholes and errors present in his questionnaire that should be
corrected and filled in order to make the questionnaire more effective and purposeful for the
very purpose of the research
SAMPLING METHODS
Researcher has used purposive and convenient method of sampling due to paucity of time and
various limitations while doing research.
FUTURE DIRECTION
The area of research can be widened to cover other districts of Bihar.
