FUNDAMENTACIÓN

“Inglés III” tiene como propósito brindar al estudiante conocimientos del idioma en mayor
nivel de eficiencia en las destrezas básicas del idioma, así como en la comprensión y
expresión, tanto escrita como oral de tal forma que el profesional de idiomas utilice
correctamente las estructuras gramaticales del Inglés a través de su estudio continuo y
sistemático..

OBJETIVO TERMINAL
La asignatura Inglés II está dirigida a permitir al estudiante:
 Incrementar las destrezas y habilidades en el manejo de las estructuras gramaticales y el
nuevo vocabulario en la comunicación oral y escrita.

SINOPSIS DE CONTENIDO
Tense and Time. Past, present and future time. Nouns. Count and non-count nouns, definite
and indefinite articles, modification of nouns and quantifiers.

ENGLISH III
PURPOSE
The purpose of this class is the study of English grammar through lively listening, speaking,
reading and writing activities.
ACTIVITIES
2 hour lecture, 2 hour lab and 2 hour discussion per week. Lessons will include a mixture of
talking, listening, writing and reading Activities will be both individual and group. In-class
activities, Journal, lab work (multimedia), oral presentations, homework, exams, final exam.
MATERIALS
Primary Textbook and Workbook: Focus on Grammar Advanced Course. Volume A by Jay
Maurer. Longman (FOGAC). Focus on Grammar Advanced Course Workbook by Rachel
Spack Koch (Longman). Multimedia aids. Handouts will be placed in the library on a regular
basis. Students need to collect these each week before the lesson.
