Criteria for Speaking Activity

Title of Activity: Reading aloud (Bingo)

Purpose: - To introduce new vocabulary and structures


- To devolve social skills
- Brain building exercises
- To practice pronunciation and sound/letter
combination.
Grade \ level Grade 3

Context: Speaking (At the market)

Students will:
Instructions: 1. Sit in the groups
2. Each group has one A3 paper with pictures and some words for doing
the activity that is bingo.
3. Each group should much the words with the right pictures.
4. When they are finishing matching, they check which group is the
winner, they now that when they complete the line of pictures and
say bingo.
5. After finishing they discuss with each other about the words and try
to make some brief sentences in aloud voice to benefit all the
students in the class.
6. They should play three times to make all the class winner.
7. I will ask them some questions after finishing the activity.
Justification:
This speaking activity is suitable for grade three, it develops their speaking
skill and to introduce new vocabulary. It's good for brain building exercises.
Also, develop social skill. The children in this activity will match the words
with the right pictures, after they fish the activity, they discuss with each
other about the words because these words are new vocabulary. According
to Brewster, "This activity is usually developed social skills." This activity is
also can improve student's skills in reading. We can use the same activity to
make the children speak about any things like animals or colors. All the skills
will get improved through one activity. At the end of this activity, students
will feel confident while they speak about the word and understand the
word also know how to say it.
