NASPE Standard:
- S1.E7.5 - Combines balance and transferring weight in a gymnastics sequence or dance
with a partner
- S4.E1.5 - Engages in physical activity with responsible interpersonal behavior

Educational Objectives:
- Dance Movements – lunges, jumping jacks, twists, squats, arm raises, jumping, marching
- Academic – Get the students engaged in a fitness dance

Equipment: Speaker, phone

Music: Phineas and Ferb soundtrack

Safety: Make sure the kids perform the moves correctly or a suitable substitute

Organization of Students: Lines

Directions:
1. Get the kids in line
2. Introduce the first dance and that it comes from a popular Disney show
3. Do that dance
4. Introduce the second dance with a warning of higher intensity
5. Do the dance
6. Introduce third dance as a relaxer and stretching because the other dances were such
high intensity
7. Do the third dance

Cues:
Warm Up
First song: “Backyard Beach”
1. First 8 counts feel the music with the students
2. Next 16 counts do hip rotation
3. Next 8 counts arm rolls forwards
4. Next 8 counts arm rolls backwards
5. 4 count grapevine w/ squat at end 4 R then L (x2)
6. 8 counts hips again
7. 4 counts arm rolls forward
8. 4 counts arm rolls back

1. 16 counts split lunges
2. 8 counts lateral arm raises
3. 8 counts side lunges R&L alternate
