explanation.

2 Organize writing to enhance the reader’s understanding by including a strong and clear
thesis, transitions within and between body paragraphs to clarify ideas and create
cohesion, and a perceptive conclusion.

3 Use formal writing style and incorporate literary analysis vocabulary seamlessly.

4 Demonstrate correct spelling and consistent command of standard English conventions

with proper punctuation and capitalization; produce writing that is virtually error free.

5 Draw evidence from literary or informational texts to support analysis, reflection, and
research in reflections that represents your creative thinking.

6 Apply knowledge of language to understand how language functions in different

contexts, to make effective choices for meaning or style, and to comprehend more fully
when reading or listening.
