RESOURCE DESCRIPTION

Portfolios are helpful for the classroom because they keep record of all the assignments as well as the
progress of students. LiveBinders is a website that organizes PDFs, documents, images, videos, and much
more. The ability to allow these different forms is beneficial because it allows students to construct projects
of different mediums. This encourages teachers to create projects that will allow students to use their different
learning styles. Also, students are encouraged to learn in creative ways. Moreover, students can look at other
people's binders including, their peers. Students can use this technology as a tool for collaboration.

INTEGRATION IDEA - PORTFOLIO


In my class, students can use the portfolio to demonstrate their work throughout the year. This is a great
resource to display the end of the year project and the formative assessments used to create the final product.

This tool sits at a three because it aligns with the content and ISTE standards and it enhances students
learning. Having portfolio’s is engaging and is a simple and adequate way to display all of the students’ work.
Without a digital portfolio, it would be difficult and tedious to collect and save student work.
