Learning objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

(i) Match at least 6 out of 8 characteristics to the right characters.

(ii) Construct a short essay not less than 50 words about 1 character
and their characteristics from the short story.

Previous knowledge: Knows the synopsis.

Teaching aids: Poster with a quote, Worksheet 1, Worksheet 2, Talking Stick, sweets

Set induction 1. Teacher shows students a poster with a Poster with a quote.

quote together.

 think the quote means.

2. From the Prezi presentation, teacher will
show the characters and characteristics
from the short story.
3. There will be questions regarding the
characters from the short story that the
teacher will ask the students.
4. Teacher will discuss further about the
characteristics and actions of the
characters from the short story with the
students.
