INDIVIDUAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN (IPDP)

2017-18 EES Manual page 9:

“All teachers will develop and maintain an individual professional development plan that identifies areas for targeted
growth and learning of teachers and students. The professional development plan may be used as a piece of evidence
for CP for those on Standard & Enhanced tracks. A teacher’s IPDP can take shape in many different formats, but
should include concrete goal(s) for targeted growth and learning of teacher and students. Teachers will discuss the
contents of their plan with their evaluator by the end of the first quarter. Reflection on the plan itself and the learning
opportunities within the plan are considered a matter of professional responsibility.

Through this learning / leadership experience…

(Summarize impressions, recall / list supporting information, analyze learning, next steps, etc.)

I feel that this year I have increased my knowledge of running IEP meetings and re evaluation meetings in central district. I feel that I
am proficient in my write up on IEP’s and re evaluation paperwork and making sure to activate everything within my timeline. The
planning days with my grade level has been an asset to my growth as a teacher. Working with veteran teachers has taught me how to
develop my teaching craft and learn different strategies and approaches that I never thought of before. I have met with the SCC and a
few times this year he provided me with valuable information pertaining to my prior knowledge of sped paperwork to how it’s done at
this school. I feel that there is still room to grow and I’m constantly learning and enjoy learning from all the veteran teachers on campus.
