Time Allotment : 10 minutes

A. Standard Competence :
3.3 Analyzing the social functions, the structure of the text, and literary elements on
expression of asking and giving opinion (extended) was responses, according to
the context.

4.3 Compose the text of the oral and written to say and respond to expressions of
asking and giving opinion the gladiator (extended) with attention to social
functions, the structure of the text, and the literary elements of the correct and
appropriate context.

B. Indicators :
a. Identify expression of asking and giving opinion in the dialog.
b. Explain how to asking and giving opinion properly.

C. Learning Objectives :

 Students are able to identify opinion in the dialog.

 Students are able to make a dialogue about asking and giving opinion
and practice in front of the class correctly.

 Students ask to teacher about the kinds
of statements which are used to express
opinion.
Experimenting
 Teacher gives pictures and asks students
to give their opinion about it.
Associating
 Teacher asks students to make a group
in pairs and gives them an exercise to
make dialogue about asking and giving
opinion based on the situation which has
already given.
Communicating
 After the students make a dialogue,
teacher asks them to practice their
dialogue in front of the class.

End Activity  Teacher guides the students to conclude 2 Minutes

H. Assignment
Make a dialogue in pairs based on the following topics about asking and giving
opinion. Choose one of the topic which will you discuss. And practice your dialogue
in front of the class.
