with World Vision’s “Support My School” project, the University has adopted
15 Panchayat schools

Promotion of Hygiene among Rural Women

An initiative aimed at making sanitary napkins Cheap and available to every women
irrespective of their social and economic status. Awareness programmes are conducted to
promote menstrual hygiene among rural women and school girls to explain that sanitary
napkin is an essential hygiene product as most of them do not use them due to ignorance
and cost factor. Sanitary napkins are also provided to them at free of cost.
