Accomplishments As College Career Advisor, I assist Juniors and Seniors with college preparation,
ACT testing, financial aid, and scholarships. This has increased the overall
number of students attending a post-secondary institution. As a substitute, I built
relationships with many of the students and learned each one by name. This was
beneficial to me in my new position as Guidance Secretary. As a clogging
instructor at Backstage Dance Studio, I have the opportunity to instruct over 60
members of the community, ages 8-70. As a waitress and office secretary at
H.G.’s Place restaurant I served meals to customers and managed food
preparation. I met customer’s demands and fixed problems with orders. I used
my computer knowledge to keep books using the Quickbooks program
and developed my communication skills while conversing on phone calls. Being a
salesman at Arfmann’s Four Seasons clothing store, I organized clothing, made
sale signs, tagged clothing, worked with others, and managed customer service.
Activities Activities I have participated in include: President over Cub scouts in local units
(15 years), served as 1st counselor in LDS Primary (8 years), 2nd counselor in the
Primary (7 years), 2nd counselor in the Relief Society (2 years), Laurels teacher (1
year), Nursery leader (2 years), High School Band and Drill team (4 years), and
4-H Builders Club (4 years).

Interests My interests include spending time with family, reading, assisting with yearly ultra
runs, going to the movies, listening to music, and traveling.
