Running System Calculation – Step by step guide

System calculation will combine VLP and IPR plots to find the system point at which the well will flow

a. Select calculations | system (VLP + IPR)

This will open system sensitivity analysis window. This window is split into 4 main elements:

a. Top left corner is for input data

b. Bottom left corner contain information on sensitivity study cases
c. Top right corner contains information on system calculation
d. Bottom right corner contains system plot (VLP and IPR curve)
e. Calculate liquid rate with following data:
Pwh = 500 psig
GOR = 800 SCF/STB
Water Cut = 0 %
f. Add this data in top left corner
g. Change rate method to Automatic – Geometric
h. Select calculate to run calculation
i. View system plot by selecting Plot | System Plot
j. Click Done to return to main screen
