Type of Product : Comic

Product Description: (Make sure it is clear what the product will look like, what it will include,
and how it will be organized.)
The product will be a comic with the length about 10 pages. Jay, a student and
superstar, will play a role as a main actor. Mint will be a camera. Chili and Kim will help with
filming and also participate in some part of the film as an actor. We will use Premier pro to
edit the video. For the script, everyone will help each other think about dialogue and of the
story.

Content Explanation: (Explain how the theories and concepts will be used to demonstrate the
essential understandings of Unit 2 in your product. The content should be based on your selected
prompt. There should be the theoretical explanation presented in your product in the creative
way.)

The product will be a short film about a guy who have many personalities according to
his multi-personality disorder. It will include the connection between social learning and his
disorder with support information of Nature & Nurture. It will be organize as a role play to
show the development of the disorder
In the story, the character was born in rich family. His parents spoil him too much
when he was young. His society including people surrounded him is difference from reality.
In his society, everything seems to be convenient for him and people surrounded him get
whatever they want. When he grows up his parent also sent him to study in the school that
full of children from rich family. But, there is a sudden change. When he about to start his
high school his parent decide to sent him to study in public school where people in different
classes come to study. The environment in public school is difference from what he have
faced before. And that the beginning of the story. He has to adjust himself and also he is
bullied by friends in school. He faces a lot of everyday inconvenience when
he go to school and causes him to develop bipolar
Social Learning : there will be a situation that cause the main character develop
another character to happen. The main character maybe develop another character through
observing the behavior or recognize the thing that had happened to her causing another
character to occur.
Disorder : Bipola. Diet disoder All of this personality are developed from difference
triggers (social learning + trauma) to protect himself and causes the main personality to
disappear. she has Bulimia

Therapy:

Script:
Jay: aggressive, calm and collected (cold numb), childish

Scene:
Scene 1: At home
Jay wake up and about to go to school. Today is his new beginning day for him. Jay just
move from his previous school which is the private school that only rich people can study to new
public school around his village. Jay was born in a rich family so his father sent him to study at
this school.
Jay : I wish today will be a good day for me.

Scene 2: At school
When Jay arrives at the school
Teacher : Hi everyone, today I will introduce you guys your new friend. Jay come on in
Jay walks in to the room
Jay : Hi everyone, My name is Jay Nice to meet you guys
Jay say as he waves his hands and smile, and friends start to gossip
Friend 1 : Hi Jay, Your bag looks so nice
Jay : Oh Thank you
Friend 1 : My name is .. and this is … and ….
Friend 2 : Hi
Everyone separate
Jay : Excuse me, Can you turn on an air condition please
Everyone looks at Jay and start to gossip.
Teacher : Sorry, Jay we will turn on the air con after lunch due to the high cost of electricity.
Jay : Silence
Friends : Look at that freshy,he act like he superior than the others

Scene 3
*Ding Dong*
Friend 1: Won’t you have lunch with us?
Jay: Alright, I’ll go with you guys
*Jay thinks that the canteen will be disgusting*
Friend 2: Jay, why are walking like a turtle?
Jay: Oh sorry, there is a ridiculous thing on my mind
Friend 1: Hurry up! I could eat a horse nowwwww
*When Jay reaches the canteen*
Jay: Aaaaah! It wasn’t what I thought

Scene 4
At Lunch time
Friend 1 : Wow, today's food is my favorite.
Friend 2 : Yeah, It is my favorite as well
Jay : Um yes, It looks ummm delicious for me too but what is it calls anyway
Friend 1 : It is a pork stew.
Jay : Wait what It doesn't even looks like....Are you sure?
Friend 2 : Yeah, we have eat this stew for 3 years how can we be wrong
Jay : Oh, don't be angry what I mean is that I just wonder I not sure because I haven't eat stew for a long time
Friend 2 : I don't think there is a problem with the stew but you
Jay : It might contains high calories for sure
Friend 2 : Why don't you just quietly eat it You talk to much
Friend 1 : Yeah, don't make us think that you're so annoying person
Jay : Okay, I'll eat it
Friend 2 : Yeah, that what you should do
Friend 2 : Guys, it’s almost time to class. Let’s go get some dessert. Everyone grab their own
plate to the dishwasher station while Jay walks away and go for the dessert.
Everyone stunt and start gossip
Friend 1 : Jay why don't you wait for us and get you plate to dish washer by yourself , we’re not
your slave, go and do it yourself!
Jay :... Oh Sorry I think the mate will do it for us I didn’t meant to do it.
Friend 1 : That all right but next time don’t do it
All Friends walk away
At the end everyone go to eat dessert
Jay : Ewwww... Can we actually eat this, It seems disgusting to me. *making disgusting face*
His friends are displeased

After Jay go back home (discussing about Jay’s behavior)

Friend 2 : I don’t like Jay

Friend 1 : Me neither

F2 : I know that he is really rich but he shouldn’t act like he is superior than us
F1 : I quite hate him , I feel a little bit annoy when he starts to ask about basic thing. I

means It’s common sense right to know that after you finish eating you should take care

of it by yourself

After that, friends start to gossip and boycott Jay (A lot)

Jay feels really alone and feel like there are many pressures from surrounding even if he

come home there still no one there for time to talk about his depressed because at this

time his parents really busy about the conference oversea.

At home

Jay : I feel so tired I wish you were here mom and dad Crying

For some time, Jay ultimately Jay become Bipolar because he has to face with many of

the depression from his surrounded society.

His friends at school start to scare him and were confused of his action.

One day Jay again leave his plate on the table at the cafeteria.

Friends : Hey! Are you forgot that you are not supposed to leave your plate here.

Jay : (Aggressive) What do you want from me!

Oh, I’m sorry. Can you just speak a little more quiet *start to cry*

After Lunch

Jay keeps quiet as he plays his computer he complain that I feel so tired I don’t want to

do anything and then he lay down on the table and breathe out

After school

His parent just came back from EU and when Jay knows that he feels really happy that he

can be together with their parent Suddenly as he go up to his bedroom he start to cry

again
Scene 5: Eating disorder

-Having a dinner with their parents-

Dad: Today, your auntie cooked roasted suckling pork and roasted chicken for you

Jay: Wowww I'd love to eat it all

Jay: But I want to eat spaghetti and steak

Mom: Did you just decide to become lardass today?

-Waiting for food-

Dad: Why would you like to eat so much today?

Jay: Cuz' I'm very hungry

-Mom is serving the meal-

Jay: OOOOOOOH! smell really good. May I start now?

-10 minutes past-

Jay: I have to go to toilet

Dad: Wait! What is happening to you?

Mom: I think she needs help

-Jay is running to the toilet-

Jay: *shout* Everything's alright. Don't follow me, mommy

-Jay is vomiting and telling her parents not to come in the toilet-

Dad: I may bring her to the hospital

-After Jay gets out of the toilet-

Mom: Have you taken the med I gave you yet?

Jay: I took it already

Dad: Alright, you should take a rest


-after that Jay goes to sleep-

-In the following morning, Jay wakes up early and finds something to eat in the kitchen,

then her mom finds out-

Mom: Did you just eat all of this?

Jay: Yeah, mom. I am little bit hungry now

-Having breakfast-

Jay: I'm gonna finish it up

-After they finish having breakfast-

Jay: Your dishes are so delicious

Mom: Jay, you just ate those things in the kitchen

Dad: Really?!

-Jay is running to the toilet-

*Jay’s vomiting sound*

Mom: This is abnormal for her. I think it's not a kind of food allergy

Dad: I think I should bring him to a psychiatrist

-Her mom is calling to Dr.Smith clinic-

Mom: Hi! dr. Smith

Psychiatrist: Hi! Mrs.Maria, how can I help you?

Mom: I'm going to bring her to your clinic tomorrow

Next Day at Psychiatrist’s office

Jay: Mom, I’m scared

Parent: don’t worry, you will be better soon

Parent: we already make an appointment with the doctor

Parent: don’t worry


Psychiatrist: hi, how can i help you guys

Parent: jay has a little problem about her eating habit.

Jay: i eat a lot, more than usual

Parent: she is vomiting every time she eat or after meal.

Psychiatrist: Can i talk to Jay alone? You two please wait outside for a moment

Parent: sure

Psychiatrist: can you please tell me what happen?

Jay: i cannot control myself when i eat that makes me eat a lot. And also have mood

swing.

Jay: I don’t want to eat school food because it look unhealthy but i have to.

Psychiatrist: ok calm down, i will help you

Jay: I need to eat it everyday and i think i get fat already.

Jay: When i go home, there were a lot of my favorite food. I eat too much. I afraid of

being fat, so i need to take it out.

Psychiatrist: my prediction is she has bulimia and bipolar.

Parent: are there anyway to help her?

Psychiatrist: for bulimia, we have Cognitive Behavior Therapy or CBT. it will help

change the behavior of the patient about the eating habit and also about the self.

Psychiatrist: for the bipolar, there are two ways. The first way is take the medicine

Psychiatrist: another way is talk therapy. This can include parents also.

Parent: oh thank you doctor.

Parent: don’t worry dear, we will help you

Parent: thank you Dr. Smith


Mom : We should spend more time with Jay I think which means we better cancel our

conference abroad

Dad : Ok, umm. Secretary, Cancel all the conferences oversea

Secretary : Ok, Sir

Jay : I don't want these disorders, Are there any ways to recover I promise I will do it

Mom : Don't worry Love we will fight through the disorders together You'll be fine soon

if you have anything just tell me and your dad ok?

Mom : You should eat these food it won’t make you fat and also rich in nutrients

Dad : It will make you healthy and don’t get fat. You can eat it in proper amount and be

full

Mom : How was your school today love

Dad : You can talk about anything that you want to us, no need to hide we are family

Jay : Good, It is better now after I can adjust myself and fit with the environments and

friends

2 months later

Jay : I can fit with my friends and school's environment

Mom : she is able to eat more without going to vomit

Dad : Her emotion is less swing

Dr. Smith : Wow, You seems to get better so far Jay, good for you and your parents. Just

keep going on with what you do

Analysis and opinion : we have to think about the trigger first so that it will be easier
for us to develop the symptom

Questions : How can we make all the personality be obviously
Summary : we should start with the trigger and have to make it clear for the viewer and
the action of the actor has to be clear
Analysis and opinion : it is really hard for us to make all of the personality and the
story be not confusing due to the fact that we don’t have much time to do it so we
change the disorder so that we will not wasting the time and complete the work on time

Questions : what is bipolar
Summary : bipolar is another type of disorder that related to depressive disorder but
the difference is that people who have bipolar will have extreme emotion or feeling
when they feel both positive and negative way
Analysis and opinion :we change the disorder to be bipolar because it is easier for an
actor to act and its symptom is quite obvious that the viewer can notice

Summary : We are trying to finish the plot of the story within today so we help each
other to think about the content in the story and also how make it becomes possible to
act and to make the viewer understand
Analysis and opinion : we can flim and finish the project during the break if we
complete the plot today

Questions :
Summary : Today, we decide to change the type of product due to the fact that
everyone of us has different schedule during the break. We will do a comic instead of a
film so that we can separate the work and be able to finish on time
Analysis and opinion : If we don’t change the topic we will not be able to finish the
work on time because we can’t not meet or meet and finish filming everything within one
day or if we can the product won’t be that qualified

Question : What is Bulimia?
Summary : Bulimia is a eating disorder that a patient will suffer from the behavior that
eating large amount of food in short period of time and then trying to avoid gaining
weight by vomit after finish that meal
Analysis and opinion : As we only basic of bulimia, we want to make the symptom of
the character becomes more obviously so that the audience can know what disorder
that this character, Jay, also has.
