To test the 1PH8-motors with star-delta-mode and the 1FK7-Redesign motors with the
SINAMICS converter it is necessary to install a CU320-2.
With the new CU320-2 and firmware versions 4.X there is a change of the current
programming process of DRIVE-CLiQ Modules. Different scenarios are described in the
following.
1.1.1 The first step is to load an existing STARTER-Project. Then change into online-mode
and in the topology view. The DQ-Module of the motor is connected at port 2 of the
motor module in this case and has component #6:
1.
4.
6.
1.1.3 Then the access level has to be changed to “Expert (3)”. Therefore open the expert list
(parameter list) of the CU and then click on the key symbol in the tool bar.
7.
8. The following window will be shown:
-> p4690: Enter the new component number. In this case 205 and then press the
10. ENTER key.
-> p4691: Select the entry [30] „Delete SMI data“ with the drop-down menu. After then press
11. the ENTER key.
-> p4691: The parameter changes to [35] „Confirmation of SMI data delete required“ now
-> p4691: With drop-down select [30] „Delete SMI data“ again. After then press then ENTER
12. key again.
-> p4691: Now the following confirmation is shown up [36] „SMI data deleted and POWER
13. ON required for component“
Was the module deleted with item 1 it can be left at once here at this port and the
corresponding component number can be used. In this case #205.
With this component #205 it has to be created a new folder on the CF-Card of the Sinamics.
This folder is named:
USER\SINAMICS\DATA\SMI_DATA_MAN\C205
Both BIN files (at DQi only 1 BIN flie) which were downloaded from the internet site before
have to be stored in this folder. If older bin files are available in this folder they have to be
deleted at first.
-> p4691: Now select the entry [2] „Download SMI data“ with the drop-down menu. After
16. then press the ENTER key.
-> p4691: The parameter changes to [9] „SMI data downloaded and POWER ON required
17. for component“
At next the DRIVE-CLiQ module has to be connected to the original port 2 and the motor can
run.
