ESSAY – FIRST DRAFT

DISAVANTAGES OF DVD PLAYER.

The DVD Player has the most stand ford format for images and audio-video. DVD was
originally on instralism for “Digital Video Disc” some members; believe that should
stand to reflect its widespread use format video applications.

The DVD Player is now the stand ford format for the storage and distribution of video
and audio is has larger physical dimensions than its predecessor, but identical CD-ROM

The first DVD Player was released in Japan by Pranner in late 1996. Two high density
optical storage standards were being developed, one the Multi Media Compact Disc
(MMCD) backed by Philips and Sony, and another was super density disc (SD)
supported by Toshiba Time-warner. The world’s first DVD Player was the Toshiba SD-
sood launcher in November by Low Gerstner

The DVD Player has several disadvantages for humans:

The DVD Player can show ghosting and it may has poor quality audio.

(Today, 2008) mentioned that the DVD Player has great costs of coding and DVD
Player are formatted ranging between 25 and 35 dollars. On the after side;
(Electronmac, 2008) indicates that the DVD Players are fragile , most of them are
sources of very week power and moreover , if you realize all day on take; even in
standby, the source is always working, so the condensators electrolyte may fail quickly.
Also (Pavtube, 2008) mentioned that the first DVD Audio Players prices on July 2008
were $700 to $ 1,200 that with laptops have more expensive drives. (Gerstner, 2010)
indicates that all DVD Player sales and rental films, television, series, special totaled $
21.2 billion in 2004. (Saberia, 2010) announces that a DVD Player can cause images in
shop edges that common an animations and represents the man disadvantag of DVD-
Audio. (Dispositive, 2006) indicates that some people DVD drives might not be causes
of reading CD-ROOMS.

In conclusion, DVD Players are more expensive than CD-ROOMS as they have large
productions costs and format. These productions costs high due to the extra features of
DVD. The comprised audio or video bad on DVD player can cause images in shop
edges.

Finally, a DVD Player is more expensive. It has a large production costs and format.
The format DVD is more expensive by the extra features. A DVD Player has
compressed audio and video because the MPEG-2 divides an images into blocks with
sharp edges, phenomenonis called Gibbs effect.

My personal opinion is that a DVD Player contains a variety of disadvantages which

allows usurious make less use of these devices. A major disadvantage is the cost of the
apparatus. Audio process can reduce dynamic range. The data transfer rate is very slow.
Currently the DVD Player is in the "format war" with Blue Ray being made
developments to possibly replace the DVD.

I suggest that all DVDs must have regional block or regional codes to prevent playback
of certain discs in geographic areas, and copy protection.
