PNP legal officer killed in Antipolo ambush

A Calabarzon legal officer was killed while his companion was wounded in an ambush in Antipolo City at
past 6AM, Friday.

The victim was identified as PSupt. Ramy Tagnong, chief legal officer of Police Regional Office 4.

He was with his live-in partner, Maria Angela Cabaltera Hadap, 36, who survived the ambush.

Based on initial investigation of PNP Antipolo, the couple was driving along Barangay Dalig, Antipolo City
on board their red Toyota Innova when they were gunned down by an unidentified suspect aboard a
red-black motorcycle.

The victims were rushed to the hospital but Atty. Tagnong was later pronounced dead on arrival.

Hadap, who sustained three gunshot wounds, is now in stable condition. — UNTV News & Rescue
