DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION

1.Attested Copy of Teaching experience certificate


( For experienced and working teachers only)
2.Attested Copy of Degree / Provisional Certificate of B.A / B.Sc / B.com/ P.G/ or any other
additional Degree / Diploma ( For B.Ed course)
3.Attested Copy of S.S.L.0 / +2 certificates.
( For B.Ed / NTTC / D.Ed /TIC Course)
3.One passport size photo affixed in the application form and attested by centre director.
FEE
It is compulsory to send first instalment of fee along with filled application form. Application without fee
are liable to be rejected summarily. The second Instalment should be deposited within two months and
third Instalments within Four months from the date. of admission. It is obligatory on students to pay the
dues in time.
Fee once remitted is not refunded in any case. The course fee, includes all payments like
examination fee, enrolment fee, cost of books and other study materials. There is no additional fee of any
type during the course time. Students appearing in this course need not purchase any books. Study
materials are supplied without any additional cost. On receipt of the completed form and the fee
printed lessons will be sent to you by Post / Courier. Local candidates can collect the study materials
from our centre. Study materials will be mailed one after the other.
EXAMINATION AND STUDY CENTRES
Examination & Contact Class is conducted in our main study centre i.e Sree Narayana Guru
college , Tharur PO, Palakkad Dt, Kerala - India.
Examination and study centres will also be arranged on convenient places depending up on the
number of students at that place.
There are two Examinations in a year. Examinations will be Conducted in the month of May, &
December
HALL TICKET
Hall ticket for Examination will be send 10 days before examination. If any student does not
receive his / her hall ticket by this time, he / she should contact to the office immediately by phone or
person.
MINIMUM PASS MARK
Minimum pass mark in each paper will be 40%. If a student got total 35% marks 5% grace marks will be
awarded by the board for passing the Examination. For first, second & third division, 60%, 50%, 40%
marks respectively are compulsory.
FAILED STUDENTS
The students failed in the examination should attend the next examination without any course fee.
But there will be an examination fee of Rs 500/. for failed candidates for reappearance

PUBLICATION OF RESULT
Results will be published within 3 months from the date of examination and mark list and degree
certificate will be issued to the passed candidates within 3 months from the date of publication of results.

RULES REGARDING SCRUTINY OF RESULTS


Failed candidates who wants to get their results scruitinised will have to remit a sum of Rs 250/- within 15
days of the publication of results. In case any favourable change in marks are noticed during scrutiny, it will
be communicated to the candidate at the earliest.

IDENTITY CARD
Students will be issued an identity card with registration number by the board. Students are advised to
keep the identity card safely till the completition of the course. Students will have to produce the identity
card at the time of examination or whenever they are asked to do so by the authorities

GENERAL INFORMATION
Students can visit any time at our main campus and cleared the doubts of their study personally or through
correspondence.
Registration number will be assigned to the students by the board after verification and submission of
all the necessary documents and fees. In all communication addressed to the board reference of this
registration number should be given.
Any change in address of candidates should be reported to the board immediately for easing the
correspondence.
For students outside India there is facility for on - line examination
Students should take admission only after being fully satisfied with the utility of the educational
programmes rendered by the S.N.E.R & E.B and due consent of the guardians
If any students, members, teachers, employees of a centre or institution have any dispute with this
institution / board it will be resolved through the committee appointed by S. N.Educational Research &
Examination Board under Indian Arbitration Act 1940. The decision of the Arbitrator shall be final and
binding on all parties. All dispute / disputes are subject to Palakkad jurisdiction only.
All the above rules, regulations and conditions are applicable only to courses and examinations
conducted by S.N.E.R & E. B

The B.Ed / PGDE and other Educational Programmes of the SNER & EB are designed and developed
adopting the curriculum, Pedagogy and evaluation system used in typical Colleges of Education in USA .
Students have to go through rigorous and intensive training
Under subsection (1) of section 14 of National Council for Teacher Education Act option is given to the
institution to make an application to the regional committee of NCTE for grand of recognition under the Act.
There for it is not obligatory for the institutions like SNER & EB to obtain recognition from NCTE.
To maintain the academic autonomy to offer contemporary curriculum & high standards of instruction
the board has opted to operate independently outside the provisions of the NCTE Act.
The B.Ed and other Educational Programmes of the SNER & EB are designed for preparing
teachers for the Private Sector English Medium schools in India and abroad and not for the employment
under the central government, any state government, any University or in any school, College or other
educational body aided by the central government or state government. Our certificates are widely accepted
in private sector employment.
