1. Introduction to the topic

Agricultural mechanism refers to technology for the production of machines used on a
farm to help with farming. Agricultural mechanism have been designed for practically
process. They include machines for tilling the soil, planting seeds, irrigating the land,
cultivating crops, protecting them from pests and weeds, harvesting, threshing grain, livestock
feeding, and sorting and packing the products. Agricultural mechanism is among the most
revolutionary and impactful areas of modern technology, driven by the fundamental need for
food and for feeding an ever growing population.

2. Advantages
There are several obvious benefits, such as
- Increase production
- Increase farmer’s income
- Increase the effectiveness, productivity, quality and quantity of agricultural products
- Maintaining quality
- Increase the added value of the produce with the right and proper processing without
affecting the taste
- Improve land and labor efficiency
- Save resources (seed, fertilizer and water)
- Saving time
- Maintain environmental sustainability

The impact has not all been positive, such as
- Can replace human labor, so it can reduce job vacancy
- Reduced income from farm laborers
- Reduce employment opportunities for women
- It costs a lot to take care of his machine and tools
- It costs a lot to buy a farm machines
- Most of the machines require large electric power
The most common criticism is
Agricultural mechanism can reduce job vacancy, that’s make level of unemployed is increase.
Another negative effect is
It’s need educated people, so low labor has no chance to get a job.

In conclusion, I belive
The agricultural mechanism don’t running as planned, because educated system in Indonesia
is low, no comparable with labor force to need for operate it.
