Design a Roller Coaster

Problem 1
This graph, between the points (0, 0)
and (4, 4), is a linear graph. The
equation for said graph is y=x.

Now for the points (8, 2) and (11, 5),


the graph is nonlinear. This equation
is a growing exponential function.

Please note
I don’t have any work shown because all the equations I had were wrong and did not
successfully prove my data. So I had to do all work by trial and error until I found the
right equation. Please forgive me for not having my work shown I just didn’t want to
have to start over for the third time. Thank you for reading this and please take this
dog as a peace offering.
