PIPE JOINTS

not less than 449 degrees celsius but less than the
melting point of the materials joined

a valve in which the flow of water is cut-off by means of
a circular disk
- Globe Valve
a valve in which the flow of water is cut-off by means of
a disk that fit against the valve seat (tortuous passage)

REGULATING EQUIPMENT
- Flush tank
for flushing removing excrements in the fixture
- Flush valve
flushing using water directly from the water supply pipes
- Flushometer tank
an accumulated vessel to discharge pre determine quantity
of water for flushing purposed
- Flushometer valve
to discharge predetermined quantity of water for flushing
purposes actuated by direct water pressure

VENT
- Individual Vent / Revent pipe
connects directly with and individual trap and extends
to the branch, main, soil , waste or any higher than the
fixture or fixture trap
- Branch Vent
a horizontal vent pipe connecting the drainage system to
vent stack or stack vent
- Group Vent
a branch vent that performs it's function for two or more traps
- Circuit Vent
a group vent extending in front of the last fixture to the
vent stack
- Loop Vent
a group vent extending in front of the last fixture to the
stack vent
- Local Vent
a pipe or shaft serving to convey foul air to the outer air
- Vent pipe
a pipe for ensuring the circulation of air
- Vent system
pipes installed for ensuring the circulation of air for the
drainage system
- Vent Stack / Main Vent
principal artery of the venting system
- Stack Vent
the extension of a soil or waste stack above the horizontal
drain connected to the stack
- Common / Unit / Dual Vent
vent serving two traps on the same level
- Dry vent
vent pipe that does not carry liquid waste
- Wet vent
