Cinemallunga presents…Singin’ in the Rain (G)

Cinemallunga’s August show, ‘Harry Potter and the Phi-

next night of fun – the classic musical comedy ‘Singin in
Your Sense & Dollars…. the Rain’. Funny, fresh and full of fabulous moments, this
is a film that all ages can really enjoy. Your toes will be

Tip #1: Change loan repayment frequency Our AGM / Pizza Party is coming up too so don’t miss
One of the quickest and easiest ways to fast track your out! Frid Dec 1st in the Show Hall – mark it down in your
home loan is by changing the loan repayment frequency calendar as the most fun AGM in town. New (and old)
from monthly to fortnightly. All you have to do is half members very welcome!
your monthly payment and pay it every two weeks. It
works because you are paying one extra month in a
calendar year when you make a fortnightly repayment,
without feeling like an extra payment. If you are
currently paying your home loan on a monthly basis,
changing it to fortnightly can shave off your loan terms
by around four years. On a $300,000 home loan at 4% on
30 years term, it means a saving of around $30,000. How
easy is that?
Tip #2: Making extra repayment
The minimum repayment on your home loan is just that –
a minimum amount you will have to pay based on your
loan rate and terms. If you are already paying your loan
on a fortnightly basis, fast track it even further by making
extra repayments. Start with something small: $5, $10,
$20. Set up an automatic transfer – it is all under your
control, you can stop it anytime, but why would you?
After a few months, you won’t miss it. In fact, you are
likely to increase it when you see how your loan is
getting skinnier, slowly but surely. Even a fixed loan
normally allows you to make extra repayments up to a
certain amount, within the fixed period. So off you go,
set up the transfer now. No excuses.
In the first few years of your home loan, your repayment
will consist mostly of interest and a small portion of
principal. So, making more regular repayments and
paying more than the minimum amount required helps,

Cheongju International Study Tour to contact the school for more details. Registration is
The Cheongju study tour from South Korea took place a relatively simple process and staff will assist you in
from the 1st-18th August. This was the first time we any way they can.
have had a study tour from this region and it was a
great success.
The students were divided between the Willunga High
School and Willunga Primary School and as a staff
body we were immensely proud of our students who
were really welcoming.
The buddies also did a fabulous job of looking after the
students, helping them get to classes on time, assisting
them in the classroom and giving them a sense of be-
longing. A big shout out to them, their friendship
groups and classmates. They did an awesome job.
Korean staff who managed the Cheongju Study tour
were also very complimentary of our school, our hospi-
tality and of course, our beautiful region.
Of course programs like this are only successful if we
have families to host students. We would like to extend
our sincerest thanks to those families for opening up
their homes to our guests.
Welcoming students into your home is a very rewarding
experience and you can make friendships that can last
a lifetime.
If any school families would like to jump on board and
become a host family to future groups, please feel free
